Letters from Dr. Geffen's former Patients
April 25, 2002
Dear Dr. Geffen:
I wanted to write you and tell you how much I appreciated the treatment by your wonderful staff. As you know, entering the treatment for cancer is a very terrifying experience for most of us. Your staff at the Cancer Center has done so much to take the great unpleasantness out of the experience.
They are a professional, caring group. They are a team working together. You feel like your care is important to them. When you see their smiles and have been hugged by them, you know they care. They are a very, very unusual team.
As you know, I spent a few days in the hospital before leaving Vero. The contrast was great. No group can match the spirit, the attention and caring your group displays. Give them all my great gratitude.
